Wastewater Master Plan

Wastewater master plan is a comprehensive wastewater service planning document that is prepared to support the construction, rehabilitation and operation plan. Wastewater treatment master plan sets out the long-term plans and strategies for providing wastewater service to customers and planning for a sustainable wastewater service and system related to financial policy, construction plan and environment policy. The WWMP includes more detailed information about collection network alternatives, wastewater treatment plant options, construction plan, rehabilitation methods and financial plans.

Wastewater master plans follow three main sections; Technical analysis, financial plan and operation and maintenance program. Each section is explained in the following.
